Alliance Health offers professional, approachable, and patient-centered dermatology in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Dr. Feigenbaum, our board-certified dermatologist, provides medical, surgical, cosmetic, and hair dermatology services. Dr. Feigenbaum took over for Cape Girardeau dermatologist, Dr. Hal Brown, in November 2019. Dr. Feigenbaum is very appreciative Dr. Brown entrusted him with caring for his dermatology patients.

Dr. Feigenbaum is a board-certified dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon who is excited to provide medical, surgical, cosmetic, and hair dermatology services to Cape Girardeau and nearby communities. Dr. Feigenbaum grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors and Phi Beta Kappa distinction. He then went on to the University of Missouri School of Medicine where he continued to excel, graduating in the top of his class and being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society, the only national honor medical society in the world. He completed his residency training at Parkland Hospital/University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas, Texas one of the top dermatology training programs in the country. During his senior year, he served as overall chief resident, scored in the 100th percentile on the national dermatology examination, and was awarded the Humanism & Professionalism Award as well as the Cognitive Excellence Award by faculty and peers. Dr. Feigenbaum is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered dermatologic care through communication and education. He has published numerous research articles, serves as an editorial reviewer and associate editor for the dermatology journal Dermatitis, is a contributing author of dermatology board examination preparatory questions for the AAD, and holds membership in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, the Missouri Dermatologic Society, and the St. Louis Dermatologic Society. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Feigenbaum enjoys spending time with those he loves most – his fiancé, family, close friends, and two dogs. He also enjoys watching Cardinals baseball, attending Mizzou basketball and football games, music production, exploring new restaurants and traveling.

Amanda Lawrence earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University before enrolling at Saint Louis University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. There she served as the program's representative to the American Academy of Physician Assistants and was chosen by her school's faculty to be inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society. This is the only national honor society for Physician Assistants and recognizes significant achievements in academics, leadership, research, and community/professional service. After PA school she worked in both the Emergency room and Internal Medicine before entering the field of dermatology. She has years of experience in the field, as well as a fellowship in dermatology from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 2019 with her husband, Drew, who is a native to Southeast Missouri, and their two children, Luke and Nora.

Andrea is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in the field of dermatology starting in 2008. Andrea grew up in Bonne Terre, Missouri and attended Mineral Area College and Central Methodist University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Andrea spent some time working in the emergency room and mental health before starting her career in Dermatology working as a registered nurse in the field from 2008 until 2015. She began her nurse practitioner education in the spring of 2013 attending Maryville University where she again graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015 with a Masters of Science in Nursing for the Family Nurse Practitioner. She became board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner also in 2015 and immediately began work as a nurse practitioner in a dermatology office where she worked from 2015 through 2020. In 2020 and 2021 Andrea practiced as a Pathologists Assistant in a dermatopathology lab in the St. Louis area. Andrea now resides with her husband, dog, Boone, and numerous animals on their farm in Festus, MO. In her spare time she enjoys trail riding, crocheting, crafting and spending time with her family and friends.

Practicing medicine since 1984, Dr. Ramiro Icaza has a Bachelor of Science from Arkansas State University and a Masters of Science from Southeast Missouri State University. He attended medical school at Autonomy University in Guadalajara, Mexico. Dr. Icaza's residency was at Deaconess Hospital in Saint Louis as an internship, followed by a residency at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee (Family Medicine Residence). He was the Chief Resident of Family Practice at Erlanger Medical Center in 1984. Dr. Icaza has served on the Diplomatic American Board of Family Practice (2016), was Assistant Professor at A.T. Still University from 2009-2010, received America's Top Doctor Award in 2007-2008, and appointed the Jackson Chamber of Commerce Unsung Hero Award in 2004. He is happily married to his wife, Dianne, with four children: Jennifer, Patrick, Chrissie, and Leigh Anne.
